Concrete for Colorado Homes

Practical Works of Art in the Home

Thinking of remodeling this year?  Think unique and interesting.  Think quality.

Think concrete.

Decorative concrete is practical, environmentally conscious, and beautiful.

We call concrete a “practical work of art.” Concrete is an all-purpose home invigorator. It takes on the color and the shapes you want for it, can fit in practically anywhere and be as unobtrusive or as stand-out dramatic as you’d like.

Our decorative concrete designs pull out the best of the medium and make visual tableaus for the living room, the bath, or the kitchen.

And then there’s its practicality. It lasts forever and a day. It’s affordable. It’s impressive. It’s easy to keep clean.

Our pieces stand out in any room as beautiful objects that might also have a second life as a countertop, table or backsplash!

And the best part… our concrete design is more affordable than many other countertop options.

Considering Remodeling Services in Denver and Northern Colorado?

Commission Greyrock.

Greyrock Concrete has years of experience working with designers on remodeling projects in Denver and throughout Colorado. We’re quickly becoming the custom concrete studio of choice for Northern Colorado and Denver remodeling services and here’s why:

  • We hold ourselves to a standard of diligence and discovery. We are constantly refining and streamlining our work processes to bring the best out of concrete – and ourselves!
  • We guarantee your satisfaction.
  • Working with a local design studio, rather than one in Denver or elsewhere, saves you time and money in the long run… but our concrete is just as durable and our designs equally as exquisite.
  • Working with a small studio has its benefits. We concentrate our full energy on just a few projects at a time. We take the time to work with your piece of practical art and look at it from every tactile angle – even the side that will probably never be seen.

How It Works

When you decide that you want to have decorative concrete as part of your remodeling project, it’s best to contact us immediately. The more lead time we have, the more convenient it will be for you in the long run.

Here are the details:

  • Preparations
Describe your vision – what place the piece will have in your remodeling project. Tell us everything that comes to mind. Let us know the color matches that are needed, the effect the decorative concrete is to have in the room, what sort of impression you want the visitor to have – however subtle or stunning.
  • Color Matching
We give you a sample for color comparison in approximately one week. See our Colors and Finishes page. If the color meets your requirements then we proceed with design. You can also choose to use one of our most popular colors.
  • Design and Templating
We can work from drawings or sketches, or we can design something ourselves to your specs. Once we have a design, we make a template on site on top of the installed cabinetry. This takes less that one day.
  • Forming And Pouring Concrete
With the templates, we build forms for the concrete pour. We pour the concrete off-site in a controlled environment instead of in your home, where it could be a real mess. Because we guarantee the highest quality product, this process takes some time. Allow two to three weeks for pouring and forming. If necessary, we can provide temporary countertops for your convenience during this time. We encourage interested clients to visit the workshop during this process to see their concrete actually taking shape!
  • Installation
We install the concrete on site. This usually takes one day to complete.

Now you have a new practical work of art in your home to enjoy for decades to come.

Areas Served

Greyrock Concrete pours off-site in our own studio, but we travel everywhere in the Denver, Boulder and Northern Colorado region to consult and collaborate with our clients. Aspen, Vail, Summit County, Steamboat Springs, Winter Park – we’ll come to you.
